Casey Anthony Verdict and Sentencing

We are all outraged at the not guilty verdict, but the jury can only go by the evidence.  Clearly, in this case there was not enough evidence to convict Casey Anthony of first-degree murder.  Let’s not forget the burden of proof is on the prosecution; the defense only has to create reasonable doubt.  That is what the logical part of me says.
Emotionally, I am sick.  As a mother of a two year old daughter, myself, I cannot wrap my mind around her behavior.   For your baby to be ‘missing’ for 31 days and not tell anyone.  It just does not make sense.  One could make the argument that Anthony is simply guilty of poor parenting, but I would argue that she guilty of something far more sinister.  Murder?  Perhaps.  What I know is the entire truth was not told about the death of Caylee.
At the end of the day, an innocent two-year old baby died.   To me, that’s heartbreaking.
