Can you list me?

I've heard the question. I've asked the question. I've seen individuals do a world of wonders to obtain the privilege. Can you list me?

Whether or not you know the rule, let me explain it to you. You have to earn your way on to the list. That's it. There is no other way to get on. Having a long standing friendship with the promoter or the artist isn't and shouldn't be enough to get listed. If anything you need to support your long time friend by paying the entry fee because most times they need the money (artist & promoters live party to party like you live check to check.) But there are various ways to earn your way onto the list with relative ease. I have taken the liberty to list a few for you.


1. Promote the party for your friend (promoter/artist) as if its your own. Whereas you're admitted for free you can more than make up for it by referring a group of paying customers that may not have attended otherwise.
1a. Please do not invite a bunch of friends to the party and say it will be free because you're listed. That's disrespectful. You + 5 = $50-100 loss for the promoter who is the person paying for a DJ/Security/Talent...etc.

2. If you yourself are an artist/promoter, simply make sure you're in a position to return the favor. We call this Promoters Privilege. And even still if you're going to the other party let your people know.

3. Begin a relationship with the promoter/artist by being a loyal and paying customer. If you show your face at all of the events in time the artist/promoter will notice and will offer you special privileges like skipping the line and eventually comp status. And even still if you're going to the party let your people know.

4. Offer your personal talents to the artist/promoter and if you're good hopefully they'll list you...haha!
