Yes, technically I have the stats. Gentleman. Worldly. Educated. No children. Strong belief system. Spiritual.
However; I have learned that I am unable to love a woman in the way that she desires because of issues totally unrelated to her. I have learned not to trust. I have learned to adapt and overcome. I have learned how to be both present and absent at the same time; to commit without committing. Still let there be no doubt in my care and concern because I do love you*.
*Reality is that I cannot learn to love a woman until I first learn how to love my mother.

Wow, you found the root, now pluck it, forgive, and love her unconditionally. This goes for me as well with my father. No one is perfect we all make mistakes for that reason it is not for us to try to understand, judge or condem our parents.
